T.C.V.--Sixth Annual General Meeting

The noted meeting was held at the Novatel North York Hotel, 3 Park Home Avenue, North York on October 13, 2010 Approximately 110 members from the five clubs were in attendance.

The primary aim of these meetings is to provide a venue for the members from all five clubs to meet, socialize and renew old acquaintances. Ample opportunity was available for the purpose both before and after the meeting. The secondary purpose is for a business meeting to report to the membership, which portion is kept as short as possible.

An excellent buffet lunch was provide by the hotel, and was enjoyed by all.

Our guest speaker was Police Constable Bill Steed, of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Department. He provided a very interesting insight into many areas of concern and well being of citizens, particularly in respect of senior citizens.
